Director Callum Blair

Campus Security NZ Ltd director Callum Blair has a wide experience in policing and security management.

Callum is a highly experienced Security Specialist, Relationship Manager, Contractor's Representative, Contract Manager and a capable business owner with high-level skills in the implementation, training and management of major security service contracts.

Qualifications

At a senior level, Callum managed Campus Security's work at Massey University campuses in Albany and Manawatu, AUT University (North Shore, City and Manakau), Unitec University, Auckland University and numerous Auckland schools including New Zealand's largest secondary school, Rangitoto College. Callum holds a Diploma in New Zealand Policing and NZQA National Certification in Security levels 2, 3 and 4.

Callum has served within the NZ Police for 12.5 years. His duties have included:

Awards, Recognition and Experience

Callum was awarded two commendations during his police service, the first being for the part played during a major incident whilst with the Air Support Unit. The second was the Police Service Delivery Award by the Chinese Lions Association for community policing duties to the people of the Auckland Region.

The technical knowledge and managerial skills that Callum brings to his role as owner and director of Campus Security NZ Ltd since establishing the company in 1998, is the result of his years in the Police. Enhancing his professional backgrounds is Callum's experience in local politics. He has served five terms as a North Shore City Councilor and chaired the council's Regulatory Committee for six years during which time he was fully immersed in compliance and policies surrounding public places and bylaws. He is a skilled team leader, communicator and decision-maker.

Callum has also served within the community as Chairman of the Albany Community Board and Commissioner of Planning, North Shore City Council.

Operations Manager Pila Fevaleaki

Pila has extensive experience in the security market with expert knowledge in the educational sector. He has been the Operational Manager for Campus Security for the past 15 years and ensures a highly professional delivery of security services to our many and varied clientele base. His knowledge of alarm networks, monitoring and building management systems is second to none and is well versed in all aspects of security requirements and people management. He is a valued member of the Campus Security team.

Qualifications

Pila is a qualified NZQA Training Assessor and holds a NZQA National Certification in Security levels 2, 3 and 4. He is bilingual in English and Tongan and attends IACLEA and TEMA conferences and training sessions.
